Service Changes

bus

WeGo Public Transit modifies existing routes, schedules, and bus stops in order to improve overall service twice a year. We make these changes based on ridership trends, service reliability, and route productivity. Changes are generally implemented in the fall (late September/early October) and the spring (late March/early April).

The process takes six months and includes:

  • Proposal development
  • Community meetings
  • Board approval
  • Schedule development
  • Infrastructure
  • Customer information
  • Implementation
