Nashville Metropolitan Transit Authority (MTA, dba WeGo Public Transit) intends to contract with Trapeze Group, Inc for the design, development, and implementation of a comprehensive Yard Management and Enhanced Vehicle Tracking solution for its entire fleet of revenue and non-revenue vehicles, including micro-location tracking of vehicles at the Nestor and WeGo Central facilities. This project builds upon the existing CAD/AVL infrastructure MTA has invested in to provide staff and customers with the most accurate vehicle location and route tracking information possible and will directly support operational improvements in vehicle assignment, on-time garage departures, on-time departures from WeGo Central, vehicle ETA accuracy, and headway management capabilities.
