WeGo changing Route 84 Murfreesboro express bus service

June 8, 2026 03:15 PM

NASHVILLE – WeGo Public Transit is changing its Route 84 Murfreesboro regional bus service.

Effective July 5, 2026, the express bus will start serving the Murfreesboro Transit Center on New Salem Highway, allowing passengers to transfer to and from Murfreesboro Transit routes. It will no longer serve the former Rover Station in downtown Murfreesboro at Burton and Walnut. The route will continue to serve downtown on Lytle Street.

Route 84 will continue to serve Middle Tennessee State University and the current Stones River Mall park-and-ride location. Later this summer, that park-and-ride will change to a new WeGo facility on Bridge Avenue next to the Murfreesboro Transit Center.
